Been pained by several crisis going on at various country across the world, fast rising pop diva, Fikkysinger is back with this conscious single “Time To Win” which preaches love and harmony.
The world is currently going through several crisis and Fikky believes now is the time to address these issues through her music because music is a strong weapon to pass across peace messages.
ABOUT THE ARTISTE
Fikkysinger (a.k.a Trendy Crooner) whose real name is Rachael Akarator: Is a self-trained RnB/Highlife singer who started singing at an early age. She hails from Abia State and was brought up by both parents in a Christian home. She is the 4th child out of 5 children. Fikky started singing officially in the 90’s with her sister and together they were called (The Adible Impact). They performed at wedding receptions and corporate events. Her inspirations were Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Onyeka Onwenu, Toni Braton and currently Adele. I quote her ” I’m a gifted and talented singer. I love to do music and I’ll pass this talent to my kids! I’m the “Olori da Vocalist”; “Fikky da Voice”.
The pop diva has graced different stages with some celebrities like Mr Nomoreloss, Mor, Ego, Jaffextra, Tito da Fire, Weird MC, TM9ja, Daddy Showkey, Lamboginy, Omobaba, Ruggedman, Segun Arinze, Diwari, Oge Kimono, GT the Guitarman and sings at Freedom Hall a platform that showcases talented people from all works of life. She has also worked closely with some DJs – the likes of: Undisputed Deejay Ogyano (Clubs finest), Dj Scotty Jay (Eko FM), Dj Rolex (Choice FM), Dj Roland (Beat FM), Dj Smooth (Rhythm FM), Dj Gabi tee (Unilag fm), Dj Shuga, Dj Whizzy, Dj Daposta (Star FM), etc.
She does music part time as she currently works with a UK Nigerian based Education organisation.
Fikky as she is fondly called is blessed with a velvety voice stormed the Nigerian music scene with her debut single “Trendy” ft TM9JA, which is a dancehall song under O.G.Y ENTERTAINMENT. The song was mixed and mastered by Indomix.
